Paths, paving & stepping stones
Gravel paths, pavers and stepping stones laid on a proper base so they stay flat and drain well.

Paths tie a garden together and get you from A to B without muddy shoes. We build gravel and pebble paths, paved areas and stepping-stone walkways, with timber, steel or concrete edging to keep everything crisp.
The part that makes a path last is the base. We dig out, lay and compact the right base material, and sort out drainage so water doesn't pool. On sloping sections we add steps so the path is easy and safe to walk.
Common questions
Gravel or pavers?
Gravel is cheaper, quick to lay and drains well, and suits relaxed or natural gardens. Pavers cost more but give a solid, clean surface that's easy to walk on and good for outdoor furniture.
Will weeds come through a gravel path?
We lay weed mat under gravel and edge the path to keep the stones in. The odd weed can still seed on top, but they pull out easily.
Can you fix an existing path that's sunk?
Usually, yes. Sinking normally means the base wasn't right, so we lift it, fix the base and relay it.
